A rural Delavan man was transported to an area hospital Tuesday after emergency responders were called to assist an individual suffering from what appeared to be self-inflicted injuries with significant blood loss.
According to emergency radio traffic and response reports, Life Flight was initially requested to the scene. However, the air medical response was later deferred, and the individual was transported by the Delavan Ambulance Service with assistance from Advanced Medical Transport (AMT).
