Edna Mary (Allen) Stiltz 79 of San Jose Illinois passed away September 23, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born November 20, 1946, in Johnson County Illinois to Martin David and Dorothy (Spraggs) Allen.

Edna married Larry F. Stiltz on July 22, 1961, in Manito and started their family. Out of this union of 65 years together, they raised six children, and two grandchildren.

Throughout Edna’s life, she had many jobs. Some of her jobs included the Petersburg nursing home, Pekin Memorial Hospital, but out of all her jobs the one she loved the most was being a wife and a mother.

Edna leaves behind her husband, Larry F. Stiltz, of San Jose, son Larry W. Stiltz of Manito, daughters Melanie (Clif) Garvin, of Elizabethtown Ky.,  Charlotte Kelly of Pekin and Valerie (Emmett) Prater, of Radcliff, Ky.

Edna raised her grandchildren Amber Parry of Mason City, and Shaun Stiltz of Douglas, Ariz. She also had a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who will all cherish the memories of Edna.

Edna is preceded in death by her son, Eddie Stiltz, daughter, Sherrie Fegett, grandsons, Aaron Thompson, Nathaniel Garvin and Alex Garvin along with her parents, Martin and Dorothy Allen, sister Patricia (Pat) Mitzelfelt and brother, Thomas (Bud) Allen.
