Are you interested in learning more about what goes on behind the scenes at the Library? Four Library Trustee positions for the Ayer Public Library District Board will be on the ballot at the April 6, 2027 election.  The four year terms are independent with no party affiliation.  Applicants must have been a resident within the Library District’s boundaries for at least one year and have a clear record at the Library.

Nomination petition forms may be picked up at Ayer Public Library, 208 Locust Street, during regular business hours.  All nomination papers are to be filed at Ayer Public Library during regular business hours between Monday, Nov. 16, and Monday, Nov. 23, 2026, prior to 5:00 PM.
