DELAVAN — Logan Weseloh has been hired as a full-time police officer with the Delavan Police Department. Weseloh was officially sworn in during the Aug. 18 City Council meeting by City Clerk Tia Galloway.

Weseloh brings a diverse background in public service to the department. He previously served as a police officer with the Marquette Heights Police Department and currently serves as a deputy coroner with the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office. In addition, he has worked as an emergency medical technician with the Minier Rescue Squad.

City officials welcomed Weseloh to the department and noted his experience in law enforcement, emergency response, and public safety. A resident of Minier, Weseloh begins his new role serving the Delavan community as a full-time officer.
