Scout Pack Celebrates Partnership, Thank Optimist Club for Sponsorship

DELAVAN — Delavan Cub Scout Pack 3061 used August’s Cruise-In as the setting for a special ceremony recognizing the Optimist Club of Delavan for agreeing to serve as the pack’s charter organization.
Cub Master Aaron Weyhrich and Den Leaders Jennifer Burrell, Erica Weyhrich, Jared Williams and Roslyn Williams led the ceremony, highlighting the importance of community partnerships in supporting local Scouting programs and opportunities for youth.
During the event, pack members expressed their appreciation to the Optimist Club for its commitment and support. The charter relationship helps provide organizational backing for the pack and strengthens its connection to the community.
Optimist Club President Adele Wheeler represented the organization and accepted the pack’s thanks on behalf of the club.
