Becky Lowry was sworn in as the City of Delavan’s Ward 3 alderman during the most recent City Council meeting. Alderman Brent Nafziger presided as mayor pro tem in the absence of Mayor White. Ward 1 Alderman Joshua Lusher made a motion to appoint Lowry to fill the unexpired term of Douglas Bury, who resigned last month. The motion received unanimous approval from the council. Following the vote, City Clerk Tia Galloway administered the oath of office. Lowry was then immediately seated as Ward 3 alderman and will serve the remainder of Bury’s unexpired term.
