Corbin Soldal Represents Delavan at 2026 GPBCA All-Star Game on South Team

Delavan Panthers standout Corbin Soldal earned the opportunity of a lifetime on June 23, representing his school and community at the 2026 GPBCA All-Star Game held at Dozer Park in Peoria. Competing among the top high school baseball talent from across Central Illinois, Soldal took the field as a member of the South team in a celebration of skill, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Soldal’s selection to the prestigious all-star event reflects not only his individual achievements on the field, but also the consistency and leadership he demonstrated throughout his varsity career with the Panthers. Known for his competitive edge and team-first mentality, Soldal has been a key contributor to Delavan’s success, earning respect from coaches and opponents alike.

Sharing the moment were Delavan coaches Dillon and Sam Hodges, who joined Soldal in Peoria to witness the culmination of his hard work. Their presence underscored the strong support system behind Soldal’s development, as both coaches have played instrumental roles in guiding him and shaping the Panthers program.

The GPBCA All-Star Game annually brings together standout athletes from both the North and South regions, offering players the chance to compete at a high level while forming connections with peers from around Illinois. For Soldal, the experience of playing in a professional venue like Dozer Park added to the excitement and significance of the event.

On the field, Soldal embraced the moment, showcasing the same poise and determination that defined his time in a Panthers uniform. Whether contributing with his bat, glove, or overall presence, he represented Delavan with pride against some of the state’s best competition.

For the Delavan community, Soldal’s participation serves as a point of pride and a reminder of the program’s continued growth. His journey to the all-star stage highlights the dedication required to reach the top level and sets an example for younger players aspiring to follow in his footsteps.

As the 2026 season comes to a close, Soldal’s appearance in the GPBCA All-Star Game stands as a fitting capstone to his high school career — one that will be remembered both for individual accomplishment and for the impact he made on Delavan baseball.
