City of Delavan Hosts Electronic Recycling
Residents had the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted electronics during the City of Delavan’s annual Electronic Recycling Day on Saturday, June 13. The event ran from 9 a.m. to noon at the old grocery store lot, 505 S. Locust St.
BLH Computers was on-site to collect a variety of electronic items from local households, helping ensure that outdated devices are properly recycled or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
City officials encouraged residents to take advantage of the event as a convenient way to declutter and prevent harmful materials from entering landfills. Electronic recycling also helps recover valuable materials that can be reused in future products.
The event was open to Delavan residents and drew steady participation throughout the morning.
