Early Voting for March 17th Primary Begins

Off-site Early Voting for the March 17 Primary Election opens today, giving Tazewell County residents two full weekends of opportunities to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day. All registered voters in the county may vote at any of the designated Early Voting sites, regardless of their home precinct.

Early Voting Locations

Voters may choose any of the following five locations:

  • Washington Township Building – Washington
  • Morton Township Building – Morton
  • FOLEPI Building – East Peoria
  • Tremont Community Center – Tremont
  • Tazewell County Clerk & Recorder of Deeds Office – Downtown Pekin

Early Voting Hours

All locations will operate on the same schedule:

  • Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

These extended hours are intended to make voting more accessible for residents who may have work, school, or family commitments on Election Day.

Delavan Polling Location Change for Election Day

Delavan voters should be aware of an important change for in person voting on Election Day. The longtime polling site at the American Legion Hall, 118 E. 3rd St., will no longer be used.

The new official polling location for Delavan is:

Delavan Township Building
1005 W. 4th St., Delavan

Residents are encouraged to update their plans to help prevent confusion on March 17.
