Carol L. Beutel

Carol L. Beutel, 90, of Tremont, passed away Wednesday morning, February 25, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born March 27, 1935 in Eureka to Leonard X. and Salome “Sally” Ifft Fehr. She married Alvin Beutel on April 22, 1956 in Roanoke, and he passed away August 19, 2024.

Surviving are her children, Daniel Beutel of Tremont, Richard (Naida) Beutel of Morrisville, VT, Gene (Lynne) Beutel of Ellington, CT, and Colleen (Mark) Moser of Tremont; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Eunice (David deceased) Beutel of Morton; sister-in-law, Annette (Ernie deceased) Schambach of Tremont; and brother-in-law, Fred (Jeannette) Beutel of Tremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Trudy Beutel and Amy Crumbo; one granddaughter, Trudi (Dayl) Jackson; siblings, Lucille, Helen, Arlene, Madeline, Eugene, Frances, and Walton; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Carol worked as a CNA at Apostolic Christian LifePoints in Morton for 10 years and also was a loving, supportive wife of 68 years, mother, friend, and a fabulous cook and baker.  Above all, Carol was a faithful servant of her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ.

She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where her funeral will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2026.  Ministers of the Church will officiate. Visitation was from 2-4 and 6-8 Saturday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont and from 12:00 to 12:45 pm Sunday at the church.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.

Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian LifePoints in Morton or Tremont Rescue.
