Fall Festival Countdown Begins
Committee Unveils 2025 T-Shirt and Parade Theme
With just six weeks to go until Delavan’s beloved Fall Festival, the planning committee gathered Monday evening, July 21, for an energized session that marked a new phase in preparations. Held at the Trio's Pizzeria Arcade, the meeting buzzed with updates, assignments, and a tangible sense of anticipation.
T-Shirt Reveal
The official 2025 Fall Festival T-Shirt made its debut to committee members. Designed to capture the charm and character of Delavan in the autumn season, the shirt features a warm palette and imagery evocative of harvest-time gatherings and small-town spirit.
One of the first printed shirts will be displayed at the Delavan State Bank beginning this week. Community members are encouraged to stop by, admire the design, and place their orders ahead of the event.
- Sizes Small to XL are priced at $18
- Sizes 2XL and up are priced at $20
Proceeds from T-shirt sales support Festival operations and community initiatives tied to the event.
Parade Theme Announced
The committee also announced the official theme for this year’s festival parade:
“Rolling Through the Decades: A Tribute to the 60s, 70s & 80s.”
Participants are invited to decorate floats and dress in styles inspired by their favorite decade — whether it’s bell bottoms and peace signs, disco sparkle, or neon and big hair. Spectators are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing up as well, bringing extra energy and nostalgia to Main Street.
Schedule Cards Available
To help everyone plan a weekend full of their favorite Fall Festival events, printed yellow schedule cards are now available at area locations, including City Hall, Ayer Library, Common Ground, and Bank of Pontiac. These handy cards list times, dates, and locations, making it easy to coordinate your visit and catch every concert, contest, and craft show you’re looking forward to.
Entry Deadline Approaching
Parade planners are reminding all individuals, groups, and organizations wishing to enter a float or vehicle in the parade to submit an official entry form by August 24. Timely registration ensures a smooth lineup and allows organizers to craft a memorable showcase that reflects the community's creativity and spirit.
More to Come
Additional updates on vendor sign-ups, entertainment lineups, and volunteer opportunities are expected as organizers gear up for the final stretch. Those interested in helping out can contact the committee via the Fall Festival Facebook page or website.
Labor Day's arrival in Delavan promises celebration, camaraderie, and plenty of local flavor — and it’s clear the committee is determined to make the 2025 Fall Festival a memorable one.
