Panthers Best Ducks 2‑1
In a thrilling showdown Tuesday evening, the Delavan Panthers emerged victorious against the Havana Ducks, clinching a tight 2-1 win with a decisive late-game surge.

The game remained tied at one until the bottom of the sixth inning, when Wyatt Pierson, number 28, delivered a clutch single to bring home Braden Arrenholz, number 14, for the Panthers' winning run.
Havana was first to strike, taking the lead in the top of the first inning when Kaden Olson grounded out to score one run. Delavan quickly responded in the second inning, thanks to Kyi Westbrook, who launched a powerful home run to left field, with nothing catching that ball but the trees, tying the game at one.

Bryson Horning earned the win for Delavan with an outstanding performance on the mound. The right-hander pitched all seven innings, allowing just one run and six hits while striking out nine and walking one.
Offensively, Braden Arrenholz led the Panthers with two hits in three at-bats, while Pierson and Westbrook each contributed a key RBI. Delavan's defense also played flawlessly without committing a single error.
The Panthers are now set to travel to Midwest Central for their next game on Thursday, riding the momentum of this down-to-the-wire victory.
